Techie at Large / Mozy Backup Service

BILLING OF SERVICES- Backup Services – Recurring Monthly Charge

Welcome to the Techie at Large / Mozy Backup Service agreement.  Before you activate the license or begin use of this service, this (TOS) Terms of Service Agreement should be read thoroughly and accepted by you. If you do not wish to accept the Terms of Service, then activation of the license is not permitted. Therefore, DO NOT SIGN UP and DO NOT SUBMIT YOUR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION

OTHERWISE, PLEASE READ THROUGH CAREFULLY AS WE DO OUR BEST TO INFORM YOU ABOUT YOUR RIGHTS AS WELL AS YOUR PRIVACY.

 COST OF SERVICE:

The cost of the Techie at Large / Mozy Backup service is as follows: Workstation computer license (non-server) will be billed at $3.95 per month.  Server computer license will be billed at $6.95 per month.  Your storage reserved for you (your quota) will be billed at $0.50 / GB per month.  The aggregation of the pertinent numbers each month will be the amount billed to your credit card to maintain the service.  If you request it, the representative from Techie at Large can connect in to your computer to assist you in selection of the files and locations to backup and to install and implement the software licenses.  This is a one time charge of for this service of $10.00.   This means that your credit card will be billed each month for the sum of the monthly license fee and storage quota allocated to you.  Only in the first month will there be an additional $10.00 charge for setup, if requested.

To be clear, the cost of using this service depends on which product and how much storage you choose.  Your credit card will be charged each month as a  recurring charge. This charge will be billed one time on your anniversary date every single month there after until you cancel your services

TO CANCEL:

You must email your request for cancelation of this service to techie@techieatlarge.com. You must include the statement of “I wish to cease utilization of the Techie at Large / Mozy backup service effective the next scheduled monthly payment date and request that my recurring credit card payment be stopped and not charged on that date.”  Additionally, please also place the final 4 digits of the credit card number being used for the recurring charge in the email.

ISSUES AND REMEDIES:

In the event that a credit card payment is not honored or the funds are not made available for the monthly recurring payment, the backup service will be suspended immediately.  If a remedy is not provided within 10 days of the customer’s notification of the issue, the license will be terminated and archival data will be deleted from the secure and encrypted servers at Mozy. If the customer is responsive and engaged in a solution acceptable to Techie at Large, there is latitude in this time period and both parties will be able to be satisfied.

Please note that all Credit Card information used for the Recurring Monthly payments is held ONLY at Elavon Credit Card Processor in their secure and encrypted environment.  There are no credit card numbers maintained either on the Techie at Large web site or at the Techie at Large premise.  It is our expectation that we will never create any level of jeopardy for your information or financial information.
